Born into a musical family and fascinated by singing in particular, Elisabeth decided already in kindergarden-age to become "Ober - Ariel - Sängerin" - not yet able to distinguish between the famous washing powder and opera arias. The first hurdle on this way she took at the age of nine, becoming the first girl to join the boys' choir of her home town, the Kiedricher Chorbuben. |

Later she also took piano and accordeon lessons. Singing the First Boy in Mozart's Magic Flute at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden - together with her brother Andreas who sang the Second Boy - made the choice definite. The fascination of opera led after graduation from school to singing studies with Prof. Eduard Wollitz and meanwhile onto many opera- and concert-stages in whole Europe and Japan. One of Elisabeth's hobbies is the search for and performance of unpublished vocal music of the 18th century. Besides she enjoys cooking, good wine, jogging, tennis and sports in general. |
